Five high school friends, now in their mid-twenties, fulfill their common dream of living in a large castle in a yet undetermined European country.

Hijinks ensue as they attempt to build their dream home while trying not to kill each other in the process. They become known to their neighbors as "the scary foreigners who make loud noises in the night".

Other crazy stuff like arranged marriages, secret gay harems and an interesting guest living in the boiler room happen along the way. How long will Blackthorn Castle stand before its inhabitants blow everything up?
